Why bike
Why your child should learn to ride
Biking is not just a hobby you add if there is time. It is one of the first ways a child experiences independence and adventure without a grown-up.
A child who can ride can go to a friend’s house, keep up with a sibling, and join the thing everyone else is already doing. Parents who write to us after a lesson do not talk about cadence. They talk about walking taller.
Our version is practical. Riding builds the same kind of independence swimming does, with a larger map. It is social. It is a family activity that does not need a referee. For kids who struggle to organize their bodies, getting balance, steering, and pedaling to happen as one action is a real win — which is why the method spends so much time connecting those pieces.
